The Need for Help Continues in Nepal

Strong aftershocks/quakes continue following the devastating 7.8 earthquake in Nepal and people need help. Cheppu From Himalaya is a founder and active leader of a relief fund working with small, local groups in Nepal. Beginning the day after the first quake, our groups have distributed food, water, medicine, tents, tin roofing, solar lights and toilets to areas often where no other help has reached. All of us are volunteers so we can be sure that 100% of support will get directly to the earthquake victims.
We are supporting local projects empowering Nepali’s to help themselves.

Metal Roofing is used to create more durable shelters for the coming monsoon season and later may be used as roofing for houses once rebuilding begins.

Sanitation is a critical factor in halting the spread of disease. Composting toilets provide the necessary facilities for people who are forced to live in the open until their houses are declared safe or they can rebuild.

With the help of our local projects and some extra help from the Napalese Army, we are distributing solar powered lights to people in tents and tin shelters. They also can charge cell phones.
